Assignment description:
We are looking for 2 Full Stack Developers / Software Engineers with a strong background in Python, SQL, R (Shiny), and cloud technologies. You play a crucial role in the further development and management of our SPIN application (Python, Django, React) and building an improved base portal to publish applications. You will work with both on-premise Linux systems and cloud solutions such as Azure and Databricks for data processing.
• Developing full-stack solutions with Python, SQL, FastAPI or Django, React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Kubernetes (OpenShift), R (Shiny) and Databricks.
• Manage and optimize backend systems and databases.
• Implementing advanced features for frontend.
• Collaborate with internal domain teams to further develop and maintain the Shiny portal and the SPIN application.
• Management of more than 30 applications.
Background assignment:
As a developer of new applications, I want to quickly develop high-quality visualizations and components, which ideally have already been approved for corporate identity and accessibility, and meet communication requirements.
With the Collaboration Portal for InnerSourcing and New Visualizations (SPIN), we have built a web application with a React frontend and Django/Python backend. Application management by IV Organization. Content implementation and maintenance throughout RIVM. Admins of the application also for domains. With the next version we want to deliver a more stable and easier platform that allows more engagement with end users. We also want to provide more content.
