Floda Systemskylt develops and manufactures sign solutions for both indoor and outdoor environments. In our own factory, we produce both standard sign systems and customized signs, including tactile solutions for guidance and information.

By having the entire production under the same roof, we work with clear flows between workshop, printing and assembly. It gives us good control over quality, materials and lead times as well as the opportunity to work long-term with durable materials and stable processes.

We are in a stable growth phase and are now looking for a responsible milling machine for our workshop.

About the role

As a responsible milling machine you belong to the workshop department and have overall responsibility for milling in production. You do not work alone, but have a clear responsibility for how the milling work is planned, carried out and coordinated with other parts of the production.

Milling is a central part of our production chain and takes place in close cooperation with the rest of the production chain. Your mission is to ensure that machines, programs, material flows and working methods work stably, repeatably and with the right quality.

The role combines practical work at the machine with responsibility for structure, order and development of the milling processes. Other tasks in production occur, which means that the work does not only consist of milling throughout the working day.

Example of tasks:

    Responsibility for milling in the workshop and associated workflows
    Programming, setting and running of milling machines
    Ensuring the right files, materials and tools before running
    Quality control of milled details
    Maintenance, order and structure around machines and workspace
    Collaboration with other parts of production regarding needs, tolerances and flows
    Support and knowledge sharing with colleagues in the workshop

The work is planned and methodical, with a focus on precision, quality and reliability rather than speed.

Who we are looking for

You have solid experience of milling in the manufacturing industry and are confident in both machine and process. You thrive in a workshop environment where structure, order and responsibility are central parts of everyday life.

You:

    Works methodically and carefully
    Takes responsibility for the whole without becoming a bottleneck
    Understands how the milling affects subsequent moments
    Can easily collaborate across departmental boundaries
    CNC milling and software
    Tool selection, fixtures and optimization of runs
    Production with both standard details and customized solutions
    Experience with materials such as plastic, aluminum, wood

Language:

Swedish spoken and written is a requirement.
