Task package

In this crucial role, you take firm control of the IT landscape and ensure that software fits seamlessly with operational reality.

• As an Applications Engineer, you are responsible for the further optimization of the Odoo system, so that all daily business processes run more smoothly. You can effortlessly translate operational needs into practical IT solutions, making a well-considered choice between standard configurations or smart customization.
• The functional and technical management of your own .NET applications is in your hands, resulting in an extremely streamlined reporting process.
• You independently carry out targeted configurations in Python and you extensively test new changes before end users start using them.
• You tackle complex technical issues effectively, while being responsible for entire serious developments, start consultation with external IT partners.

Profile

To be successful as an Applications Engineer, you must bring a good dose of solution-orientedness and a penchant for efficiency.

• Demonstrable experience with Odoo and Python is crucial, ideally supplemented with up-to-date knowledge of .NET, Git, Docker and API integrations.
• Making independent decisions does not deter you at all; you quickly make decisions based on business impact, feasibility and budget.
• Colleagues without a technical background understand your explanation perfectly, simply because you can convey complicated matter clearly in human language.
• Fluent communication in Dutch or French comes easily to you, with an excellent passive understanding of the other national language.
