In this PM role, you will work on traditional and agile projects, ensuring governance, delivery and control of scope, cost, time and quality. You will lead the interaction of interdisciplinary teams, manage risks throughout the entire project cycle and ensure the development and execution of plans, control boards and committee minutes, promoting timely decision-making for changes in critical project variables. You will participate in strategic and local projects focused on the technological transformation of the region and the financial sector, contributing to the continuous improvement of management processes and practices.

• Be qualified to sign a SENA learning contract, in one of these two modalities:
  • Technologist in Software Analysis and Development (ADSO) or similar, from SENA or another recognized institution, who is about to start or is in the middle of its productive stage.
  • University student of Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science or related courses, who is in his semester internship or the last semester of the degree, with endorsement from your institution to do the internship under a learning contract.
• Programming fundamentals, ideally in Python.
• Basic concepts of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
• Basic knowledge of APIs and web services.
• Management of Git and version control.
• Basic concepts of SQL databases.
• English basic to intermediate technical.

At FactorIT we promote technological transformation with Data & Analytics, AI and automation solutions for large companies in Latin America. We are looking for an AI Trainee to join our Artificial Intelligence team in its practical stage.

You will learn from AI Engineers, architects and specialists in Generative AI, participating in real projects with language models, virtual assistants and intelligent automation.

Support the integration of Generative AI models through APIs and tools defined by the team.

Participate in the construction of proofs of concept (PoC) with LLMs, virtual assistants and intelligent automation.

Prepare, organize and validate data used in AI solutions.

Create and maintain prompts, conversational templates and basic interaction configurations with models.

Execute functional tests on AI solutions and document results, incidents and improvements.

Document architectures, flows and technical configurations of the projects.

Participate in technical meetings, refinement sessions and project monitoring.

Investigate new models, frameworks and AI tools.

Support the monitoring of the performance of the implemented solutions.

SENA learning contract, with monthly support support according to current regulations for your level of training.

Affiliation with social security.

Modality: remote in [Medellín / Bogotá].

Duration: [6 months / according to the internship period endorsed by your institution].

• Initial knowledge of LLMs (GPT, Claude, Gemini) and prompt engineering.
• LangChain or similar tools, and RAG basics.
• GitHub Copilot or other AI tools for development.
• Introductory certifications in Generative AI, such as Google Cloud Generative AI Fundamentals or AWS AI Practitioner.
• Academic projects, bootcamps, hackathons. or personal projects in software, data or AI (share your GitHub or portfolio).
