Job Description
Job Overview
We are looking for a Software Architect to design, build and improve key elements of Intelerad's compilation and delivery infrastructure. In this role, you will translate DevOps and cloud-native best practices into reliable pipelines, automations, and tools. These tools help R&D teams deliver high-quality software in a regulated healthcare environment. You will work closely with senior level architects and development teams, taking responsibility for the technical outcomes of your components. Your role will then expand to the entire platform.
Main responsibilities
- Design and deliver platform components: Responsible for the design, development and improvement of specific components of the Intelerad compilation system and delivery platform. Ensure that each of them meets performance, reliability, safety and compliance standards.
- Support development teams: Guide development teams in adopting continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, infrastructure automation, and Kubernetes-based container orchestration. Resolve technical problems that slow down delivery.
- Create features that comply with architectural standards: design and implement features across Intelerad products using proven design patterns, balancing quality, functionality and delivery deadlines.
- Contribute to technical direction: collaborate with senior level architects and R&D leadership on platform roadmaps, tool evaluation and architectural decisions. Document standards and transmit knowledge to strengthen the team’s capabilities.
- Plan and report on delivery: delineate the scope of work, gather requirements and estimate the effort required for assigned initiatives. Provide management with accurate progress reporting, while balancing project work and ongoing platform maintenance.
