The QA Automation Engineer will join the quality assurance team for an enterprise advertising management platform, which uses a monorepo that groups more than 12 applications within the product ecosystem. We aim to strengthen our quality strategy, drive test automation, integrate CI/CD pipelines, and explore AI tools applied to testing for early error detection. You’ll work with development, architecture, and DevOps teams to define quality standards, expand test coverage, and ensure stability in frequent deployments.
- Proven experience building Business Intelligence solutions with Power BI.
- Solid mastery of Power BI, including the design and use of semantic models, relational modeling, DAX, performance optimization, and the creation of scalable dashboards.
- Experience designing relational models, correctly defining tables, relationships, cardinalities, and filter directions.
- Ability to identify, explain, and avoid circular dependencies in Power BI.
- Practical knowledge of row-level security (RLS) in Power BI.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL to build complex queries, prepare datasets, and optimize their performance.
- Proficiency in Python applied to data transformation, validation, or process automation.
- Experience gathering requirements from stakeholders and translating them into metrics, KPIs, and reports that are useful for the business.
- Experience applying best practices for documentation, quality, deployment, and change control in production environments.

We’re looking for a BI Engineer / Data Engineer with expertise in Power BI, SQL, and Python to join a corporate data initiative spanning Chile and Peru. The project consolidates information into a data lake and enables semantic models, reporting, and analytics to support decision-making within a regional mobility and retail ecosystem.
The role combines technical depth with direct collaboration with business units. You will transform requirements into relational and semantic models, as well as reliable metrics and dashboards. You will also implement row-level security (RLS), optimize model performance, and prevent circular dependencies.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI in collaboration with business units.
- Design relational and semantic models in Power BI, defining tables, relationships, cardinalities, filter directions, metrics, and business rules.
- Create and optimize DAX measures, identifying and avoiding circular dependencies within the model.
- Implement and maintain row-level security (RLS) according to business profiles and needs.
- Build complex SQL queries and optimize dataset preparation and performance.
- Use Python to transform, validate, and automate data processes.
- Develop and maintain the data extraction, transformation, and preparation layers required for BI solutions.
- Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into KPIs, data definitions, and specific deliverables.
- Ensure the usability, consistency, scalability, and performance of dashboards and models.
- Document and version control developments, applying best practices for quality, change control, and production deployment.
- Coordinate with data leadership and business units to manage priorities, dependencies, risks, and roadblocks.
