As a hands-on Business Analyst you work within a Regulatory Team at the intersection of legislation and regulations, business and IT. You translate complex regulations into practical IT solutions and use Python for data analysis, automation and creating insight.
Role & context
You work within Asset Management in an agile team of approximately 12 professionals on regulatory processes such as SFDR, MAR and EMIR. You work daily with stakeholders from Compliance, Trading, Regulatory Reporting and Business Management.
Activities
• Translating legislation and regulations into functional and technical requirements
• Analyzing data and developing solutions in Python
• Building dashboards, reports and automations with Streamlit, SQL and Databricks, among others
• Aligning wishes and priorities with stakeholders
• Supporting, improving and managing existing applications
• Documenting, presenting and implementing new solutions
• Writing code with Python
Requirements
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience
• Experience as a Business Analyst in a complex environment
• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory issues
• Demonstrable experience with Python and data analysis
• Knowledge and experience with Asset Management within the financial sector
• Affinity with Asset Management, financial products and the investment chain
• Experience with translating legislation and regulations into functional and technical requirements
• Able to code can be written with Python
• Proactive, analytical, accurate and independent
• Able to function effectively in a dynamic and changing environment
