Description: For one of its clients, an international leader in mass distribution, Skiils is looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to strengthen its team. This team is part of the Cloud, Ops & Digital Workplace department, which designs Cloud and Kubernetes services, defines Cloud architectures and security and supports the application teams.
You are joining a highly critical continuity project: maintaining the Azure and GCP multi-cloud Landing Zone in operational conditions and making it evolve in step with the new services offered by suppliers.
Your missions
*
Develop and maintain the Python scripts and tools that control the Landing Zone, in a rigorous Git workflow.
*
Design internal APIs (FastAPI/Flask, OpenAPI, semantic versioning) and secure them: OIDC, RBAC, rate-limit, schema validation, secrets management.
*
Automate build, test and release via GitOps pipelines (GitLab CI/CD) and Docker packaging.
*
Orchestrate Cloud resources with Terraform: Key Vault/Secrets, DNS, gateways and reverse proxies (AppGW, Envoy, Nginx, HAProxy), storage.
*
Set up observability: logs, metrics, traces, SLI/SLO, alerting and runbooks.
*
Increase reliability through testing (unit, integration, load), resilience and controlled rollback.
*
Document and industrialize: templates, integration guides, code conventions, security reviews.
Profile sought
*
3 to 7 years of experience in Cloud engineering.
*
Solid practice of Python scripting in a Git environment.
*
Good network knowledge (TCP/IP).
*
Good Linux basics (SSH, bash).
*
Experience on Azure and/or GCP, ideally on a Landing Zone.
*
Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, Docker.
*
Development of Python APIs and security (OIDC, RBAC).
*
SRE/observability practices (SLI/SLO, alerting).
*
Experience in retail or mass distribution.
*
Bac+5 in computer science (engineering school or university) or equivalent experience.
Soft skills: autonomy and sense of priorities, clear written and oral communication, critical thinking, taste for knowledge sharing and continuous improvement, calm in the face of complex situations.
