Description: The Lower Austria Public Employment Service is looking for: 1 Customer Support / Technical Project Manager (m./f./d.) Your tasks:

* Technical customer support and project management for radiation measurement technology and related technical systems; Work, installations,

* Commissioning and error analysis in radiation environments or controlled areas in compliance with radiation protection regulations;

* Technical clarification of customer requirements; Carrying out and supporting metrological work; Coordination with international

* manufacturers and customers; technical documentation and project management; Willingness to travel worldwide and international

* Customer assignments; Ability to work with high precision, care and reproducibility, especially with measurement technology

Your requirements:

* Completed technical university degree (Master or comparable) in the field of Electrical Engineering, Biomedical and Environmental Engineering, Computer Science,

Physics or a related field; Research and development experience in the field of ionizing radiation and radiation measurement technology;

* practical experience in the development, design and technical implementation of detectors and measuring systems for ionizing radiation; Experience with high-resolution gamma spectrometry and

HPGe detectors as well as alpha and beta radiation measurement;

* Experience in sample preparation for alpha spectrometry including electrode deposition; Experience with

numerical detector modeling, Monte Carlo simulations and evaluation of measurement and detector data;

* Programming knowledge, particularly in Python, MATLAB and C/C++; Knowledge of analog and digital electronics, electronic measurement systems, instrumentation and data acquisition;

* very good knowledge of English.n Activities.

Your salary:

€ 4,100 gross on a full-time basis (38.5 hours)
