Data & AI Engineer (m/w/d)

Our central tool is Knowledge Graphs - a key technology for AI enablement that aims to serve as a Single Source of Truth for all relevant data in the company. We work intensively with LLMs.

Our customers come from the energy industry, chemistry, pharmaceuticals or process consulting - from municipal utilities that want to combine their network and operational data to large corporations that build data products.

We are currently two founders and one employee and are looking for you as the next reinforcement. With us, you will not only work on cutting-edge technologies, but you will also help shape our culture, our processes and our product from the very beginning.

Tasks

• Hands-on development in national and international Data & AI customer projects with a clear implementation focus

• Setting up and planning Data & Technology strategies for our customers

• Development of Knowledge Graphs based on open standards (RDF, SPARQL, SHACL, OWL)

• Integration of data from existing systems (e.g. databases, GIS, ERP, documents) into a central database

• Development of machine-readable data models (ontologies, Taxonomies)

• Implementation of Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and Pilot Projects - from the first workshop to an executable solution

• Development of approaches for neurosymbolic AI (LLMs + Graph Reasoning)

• Co-design of our neonto toolstack and the Knowledge Graph application landscape

Qualification

• Fluent German and English skills

• A (soon) completed MINT master's degree (e.g. business informatics, computer science)

• First work experience (full-time, working student, internship, ...)

• Basic understanding of data models and interest in data strategy, data quality and the structured preparation of data

• Confident use of Office tools (especially PowerPoint)

• In-depth programming knowledge in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, JavaScript or TypeScript) as well as confident use of Git and SQL

• Ideally: experience with containerization (Kubernetes, Cloud, Docker)

• Quick learning ability, desire for new tasks and solution-oriented thinking

• 0-30% travel activity (depending on the project)

👉 Previous knowledge in the area of knowledge Graphs are not required - we will train you comprehensively!
