We are looking for a Data Engineer
(minimum 32 hours) who will join our team in Alkmaar (pre) or Rotterdam.
As a Data Engineer at Acrisure, you are the one who translates separate data sources into one coherent whole. You ensure that data is not only available, but also really works. For reports. For analytics. For AI solutions that make a difference in practice. You delve into operational systems, APIs and databases and build smart, scalable data pipelines around them. You then give that data meaning by modeling it in a semantic data model. No separate tables, but a structure that the business can work with directly.
And it doesn't stop there.
You develop datasets and data services that are directly used by colleagues, and build custom functionality in Python, R or TypeScript when standard solutions are not sufficient. At the same time, you are working on the future: you set up AI solutions with Large Language Models, work with AI agents and build RAG architectures that you integrate into existing processes. Together with a Data Analyst and other stakeholders, you translate ideas and use cases into concrete solutions. You ask the right questions, think along and continue to build. In the meantime, you ensure that everything is rock solid: from data quality and monitoring to CI/CD processes.
In short: you build the foundation on which a data-driven Acrisure continues to grow.
