Data Engineer
Data is the foundation of every government agency. We are looking for a driven Data Engineer who bridges the gap between raw data and valuable insights. At ICT Jobhouse we mediate for complex projects at, among others, the Tax Authorities, DUO and various ministries. As a Data Engineer you are responsible for designing, building and maintaining robust data pipelines that enable our customers to make data-driven decisions.
What are you going to do? - Building pipelines: Developing scalable and reliable ETL/ELT processes (in Python/PySpark). - Architecture: Thinking about the design of the modern data platform (Azure Synapse/Databricks). - DataOps: Implementing CI/CD pipelines for data so that code updates and data migrations run smoothly and securely. - Quality & Governance: Ensuring that data is accurate, secure and GDPR compliant (Data Governance). - Collaboration: Sparring with Data Scientists, BI consultants and Data Architects to optimize the data chain.
What are you bringing? - HBO/WO working and thinking level. - At least 3 years of experience with Python and SQL in data environments. - Demonstrable experience with Azure Data tooling (Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks). - Knowledge of Data Modeling and Data Vault principles. - A proactive, analytical attitude and good communication skills in Dutch.
Advantages - Certification such as DP-203 (Azure Data Engineer). - Experience with streaming data (Kafka). - Knowledge of Data Governance tooling (Microsoft Purview).
