- Training in Computer Engineering, Civil Computer Engineering or related career.
- Verifiable experience in data engineering and pipeline construction in cloud environments.
- Advanced command of Python and SQL.
- Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform, especially BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Run and Cloud Scheduler.
- Experience integrating multiple data sources through APIs, databases and systems corporate.
- Experience in Banking.
Role objective
We are looking for a GCP Data Engineer with Banking Experience to participate in transformation initiatives based on Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Analytics. The role will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, automated and scalable data solutions on Google Cloud Platform. The person must integrate, transform and make available information from multiple sources, ensuring quality, traceability and reliability throughout the life cycle of the data.
Main responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.
- Integrate heterogeneous sources, including REST APIs, relational databases and corporate systems.
- Implement data ingestion, transformation and availability processes using BigQuery and other GCP services.
- Ensure the quality, traceability and reliability of data flows.
- Apply good development and version control practices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enable advanced analytics and artificial intelligence solutions.
- Participate in projects that require data security and governance standards.
Technical knowledge and skills
- Experience in Data Engineering and construction of data pipelines in cloud environments.
- Advanced command of Python and SQL.
- Practical experience in Google Cloud Platform.
- Usership of BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Run and Cloud Scheduler.
- Experience integrating data through REST APIs, databases and enterprise systems.
- Knowledge of Git and good development practices.
- Ability to design automated, scalable and reliable data solutions.
Modality:
Modality: Hybrid in the Commune of Las Condes, close to the Manquehue metro.
Estimated duration of the project: 2 months with the possibility of extension.
Desirable knowledge
- Experience in banking projects, financial services or regulated environments.
- Experience working with sensitive data and data governance requirements.
- Knowledge of automation processes, observability and pipeline monitoring.
- Experience coordinating integrations with multiple technical and business teams.
Proficiency in English is not a mandatory requirement for this position. If the person has knowledge of technical English, it may be considered a complementary skill, but it will not be an exclusive selection criterion
