About the role

We are looking for a thorough and solution-oriented DBA for Unibase!

As a DBA you will, among other things: recovery and disaster recovery
    Participate in projects around data migration, data integration and data platforms
    Collaborate with developers, architects and business representatives to support data-driven solutions

You will be an important part of our and the customer's team and contribute to delivering robust and effective data solutions.

Your duties may consist of the following (depending on assignment):

Operations and management:

    Manage and monitor databases (Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
    Perform patching, upgrades and performance optimization
    Automate tasks with scripts (PowerShell, T-SQL, Python)
    Ensure database security and access controls

Backup and recovery:

    Implement and monitor backup strategies
    Perform recovery tests and ensure disaster recovery readiness

Data integration and migration:

    Work with ETL processes and data integration (SSIS, Azure Data Factory)
    Migrate databases between different platforms and environments

Performance and analysis:

    Perform capacity planning and performance analyses
    Identify and fix bottlenecks in database performance

Meritable experiences

Experience is a plus by:

    Cloud-based database services (Azure SQL, Amazon RDS, Google Cloud SQL)
    High availability and replication (Always On, Log Shipping, Clustering)
    Data platforms and BI solutions (Power BI, SSAS)
    Certifications in database management or cloud services (eg Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate)
    ITIL v4 or similar IT governance framework

Your background

We are looking for you who have:

    Several years of experience in database management in a production environment
    Good understanding of database design, security and performance optimization
    Post-secondary education in IT, computer technology or equivalent experience
    Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both oral and written
