In this PM role, you will work on traditional and agile projects, ensuring governance, delivery and control of scope, cost, time and quality. You will lead the interaction of interdisciplinary teams, manage risks throughout the entire project cycle and ensure the development and execution of plans, control boards and committee minutes, promoting timely decision-making for changes in critical project variables. You will participate in strategic and local projects focused on the technological transformation of the region and the financial sector, contributing to the continuous improvement of management processes and practices.

• Experience as a backend developer, at a semi-senior level.
• Practical experience in Google Cloud Platform.
• Development of microservices with Python and/or Java.
• Deployment of services in GKE (Kubernetes).
• Experience with Cloud Functions.
• General knowledge of Pub/Sub and Cloud Storage

At FactorIT we promote technological transformation with Data & Analytics, AI and software development solutions for large companies in Latin America. We are looking for a Semi Senior Backend Developer to join a project of an important Compensation Fund in Chile.

Your mission will be to build microservices and serverless solutions on Google Cloud Platform, developed in Python and Java, deployed in GKE and exposed through Apigee. You will work in an agile team, taking care of the quality, robustness and scalability of the products from design to production.

Develop backend products that meet the quality standards necessary for production operation.

• Design and build microservices in Python and Java deployed in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Implement serverless solutions with Cloud Functions.
• Integrate services through messaging with Pub/Sub and manage files in Cloud Storage (buckets).
• Expose and manage APIs through Apigee.
• Develop queries and data logic on Oracle SQL.
• Generate robust, maintainable and scalable solutions over time.
• Actively participate in agile ceremonies: planning, daily, review and retrospective.

Hybrid modality in Santiago, Chile. Fixed-term contract for 3 months.

• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Use of Git in collaborative flows (code review, pull requests).
• Unit and integration tests.
• Experience in the financial, pension or compensation sector.
• Google Cloud certifications.
