Description: At AuditBrain we specialize in developing software for internal and external Audits, easy to use and that do not require an IT team to implement them.

The Backend Developer's mission will be to support the development of infrastructure for web applications and solutions, interacting with an interdisciplinary work team, with the aim of meeting the requirements of our clients and our own developments.;ensuring that the code is solid, scalable and maintainable, supported by good development practices. 

Experience: 5 years as a Backend Developer handling Python and DRF (Django Rest Framework)

Training:

• Technologist or Professional in systems or related careers

What you need to know at a technical level:

• Python (Django/DRF) minimum 3 yearscertifiable
• API Development (REST)
• Databases (Postgres SQL)
• Version Control (GIT)
• JavaScript
• AWS
• Quality and security: Testing with Pytest, coverage and contract tests, OWASP-Secure Conding

The Backend Developer's mission will be to support the development of infrastructure for web applications and solutions, interacting with an interdisciplinary work team, with the aim of meeting the requirements of our clients and our own developments.;ensuring that the code is solid, scalable and maintainable, supported by good development practices.

• Design and develop Back-End functionalities (APIs, services) for assigned products and projects.
• Raise and refine requirements with support, internal/external clients and product.
• Define scalable and secure Backend architecture (patterns, modularity, multitenancy when applicable).
• Model and normalize databases (PostgreSQL), with migrations, indexes and optimization ofqueries.
• Implement business logic and the data access layer (ORM/queries).
• Design, document and version REST APIs;integrate Front-End ↔ Back-End (contracts/DTOs).
• Implement security: authentication/authorization (JWT/OAuth2), hardening and OWASP controls.
• Perform tests (unit, integration, contract) and correct defects.
• Ensure performance, availability and optimization (caching, profiling, tuning).
• Maintain CI/CD (build, test, deploy)and Git/GitFlow flows (branches, PRs, merges).
• Monitor and observe the platform (logs, metrics, alerts) and participate in incident response.
• Update dependencies and manage backend vulnerabilities.
• Support cloud deployments (e.g., AWS: RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch; containers/serverless).
• Track projects:execution, maintenance, merges and planned changes.
• Meet schedules and SLAs;report status and progress to stakeholders.
• Document code, technical specifications, decisions and operability.
• Automate tasks and pipelines to simplify/standardize the development cycle.
• Research and propose technological improvements;comply with internal regulations and standards.
• Performs any other related task that is assigned within the framework of the development area.
