CONTEXT

As part of a program to modernize and harmonize its information system, a major player in the banking sector is looking for an experienced Python Developer to join a team specializing in the management of cross-functional data repositories.

The team supports the different business lines in the acquisition, consolidation, transformation, distribution and consumption of data from reference.

The mission is more particularly part of a program to migrate ETL Informatica PowerCenter processing to Python, covering several strategic applications for management and exposure of repositories.

MISSIONS

* Design the design of new Python processing based on the functional specifications provided by the Business Analysts and in collaboration with the Tech Lead.
* Develop new processing while respecting the internal Python framework and the containerized architecture of the applications.
* Carry out data transformation, feeding and manipulation processing.
* Participate in the migration and modernization of existing processing under Informatica PowerCenter.
* Develop unit tests and automated tests associated with processing.
* Guarantee the quality, structuring and industrialization of developments.
* Carry out deliveries to UAT environments.
* Prepare the necessary documentation during production releases and assist the referents during deliveries to higher environments.
* Actively participate in the ceremonies and work of the squad in an Agile operation.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

You will join a Python squad specialized in Data and repository issues, made up of developers and Tech Leads distributed between France and Portugal.

The team works in Agile, with an organization in 3-week sprints, in a context modernization of existing applications and progressive migration of ETL processing to an industrialized and containerized Python architecture.

1.  Coming from higher education in information systems or IT
2.  Significant experience in Python development, ideally on Data / ETL / data transformation oriented projects
3.  Proficiency in Python 3.9+
4.  Proficiency in Object Oriented Programming (OOP)
5.  Proficiency in SQLAlchemy
6.  Proficiency in Pandas
7.  Proficiency in Pytest
8.  Proficiency in Oracle databases
9.  Experience in developing transformation and data feeding processes
10. Knowledge of CI/CD environments
11. Proficiency in Jenkins and Bitbucket
12. Experience with deployments on OpenShift
13. Knowledge of object storage / S3 buckets
14. Use of Jira and Confluence
15. Knowledge of Checkmarx
16. Experience in the design and industrialization of processing handling large volumes of data appreciated
17. Knowledge of BDD (Behavior Driven Development), Kafka and Pydantic are additional assets
