We are continuing our development and are currently looking for a Senior Python Developer M/F to work for one of our clients.

Context:

You will join a team working on the development of an agentic platform integrating a RAG-type document search solution, exploiting a wide range of documentary sources.

Your role will be to participate in the design, development and optimization of this innovative solution, in an environment where the application base is already largely in place and is based on good practices linked to RAG architectures.

You will evolve alongside experts in software architecture and artificial intelligence, who will support you on technical subjects specific to the project.

The project is carried out using an Agile approach, with an incremental delivery logic. and a continuous improvement approach.

Your mission:

Within a project team, you will be in charge of:

- Analyze functional and technical needs and participate in architectural choices upstream of developments

- Design and develop efficient, scalable and maintainable software components

- Participate in the development and evolution of the Python platform

- Write the associated technical documentation development

- Implement automated unit and integration tests

- Optimize the performance and scalability of the solution

- Collaborate with the software architect and AI experts

- Participate in code reviews and the continuous improvement of development practices

- Be a source of proposals on technical choices and developments of the solution

Your Profile & the technical environment in which you will operate:

- Proven experience in Python / Full Stack Python development

- Very good command of Python

- Mastery of FastAPI

- Mastery of PostgreSQL

- Mastery of Git

- Mastery of Celery

- Knowledge of Elasticsearch

- Experience in the design of software components maintainable, efficient and scalable

- Good knowledge of unit and integration tests

- Sensitivity to performance and scalability issues

- Experience in an Agile environment

- Rigor, analytical mind and autonomy

- Ability to collaborate with varied technical profiles

- Strength of proposal and appetite for innovative technologies

Knowledge in development front-end, in particular Angular or Vue.js, would be a plus.

Knowledge of LangChain, Docling or prompting techniques would also be appreciated.

Some important information to remember:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in Python development

- 2 days of teleworking per week

- Start date: 01/10/2026

- Type of contract: CDI, Freelance, Salary Portage

- Occasional trips to Lyon or Paris may be expected, around 4 times a year
