You will take on these challenges

* Development and specification of innovative hardware solutions for embedded systems

* Conception, implementation and further development of product-specific software based on RTOS and Embedded Linux

* Integration and connection of communication interfaces such as CANopen, SPI and I²C into existing system architectures

* Definition and coordination of internal and external hardware and software interfaces

* Development, optimization and documentation of electronic prototype circuits using modern ECAD/EDA tools

* Implementation of cyber security requirements for embedded software in accordance with current security standards

* Planning, execution and evaluation of software tests

* Use of modern development environments for hardware and software development

* Creation of technical documentation to ensure a sustainable product development

* Close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams throughout the entire development process

Convince us with your qualifications

* Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, computer engineering, embedded systems or comparable

* Several years of professional experience in hardware and software development for embedded systems

* Experience with communication protocols (such as CANopen, CAN)

* Programming knowledge in C/C++, Python or JavaScript in an embedded environment

* Dealing with development environments such as Eclipse

* Familiarity with ECAD/EDA tools for circuit development

* Knowledge of cyber security requirements for industrial applications

* Knowledge of German appropriate to the requirements (at least level C1) and good written and spoken English skills

For this position, the annual gross salary is at least EUR 56,000 (on a full-time basis). We offer an overpayment in line with the market depending on training, professional qualifications and experience.
