Job description

- Characterization of MMICs/RFICs in the frequency range >100 GHz
- Carrying out on-wafer measurements as well as setting up and optimizing RF measurement stations
- Analysis of S-parameter, power and Linearity measurements (IP3, P1dB)
- Application of calibration and de-embedding procedures (TRL, SOLT, LRM)
- Evaluation of measurement results and derivation of design feedback
- Automation of measurement processes with Python and/or MATLAB
- Support with silicon bring-up and design validation

Profile

- Study of electrical engineering, HF technology, microelectronics, Physics or comparable
- Several years of experience in MMIC/RFIC characterization desirable
- Sound knowledge of RF and millimeter wave measurement technology (>100 GHz)
- Experience with wafer probers, VNA systems and on-wafer measurements
- Knowledge of calibration and de-embedding procedures
- Experience in measurement automation with Python and/or MATLAB
