Description: As part of a pre-selection, the AMS Lower Austria is looking for 1 development engineer Application Development Your tasks

* Analysis of complex data sets and development of optimization algorithms to improve system accuracy and performance

* Conception, implementation and evaluation of experiments (proof of concept) to validate new functions and technologies

* Development and application of methods for analyzing protocol, exposure and measurement data

* Creation and management of test scenarios, including the reproduction and analysis of Customer problems

* Building and applying expertise in the areas of exposure processes, creation of job decks and associated system components

* Defining requirements and supporting implementation in research and development, including documentation and knowledge transfer to the areas of technology and operations

* Contributing to the continuous improvement of system performance (e.g. automation, quality, stability, throughput)

* Ensuring structured documentation, validation and continuous optimization of test and Acceptance processes

Our requirements - your competencies

* Experience in a highly technical environment

* Experience with the analysis of complex systems, data-driven problem solving and with experimental development activities

* Doctorate in physics or a related technical field

* Sound knowledge in the field of mechatronic and optical systems

* Experience with data analysis and signal processing as well as knowledge of Python for data processing and analysis

* Experience in planning, conducting and evaluating experiments in an R&D environment

* Experience in project management

* Fluent in English

Your working hours

* Full-time employment of 38.5 hours per week

* Flexitime

* Start from 8:00 a.m., end from 4:00 p.m Clock
