Our Data Engineering area

Our area is responsible for the development and maintenance of the Data Platform, as well as the data ingestion network from transactional, operational, customer relationship systems, among others. We store all the data loaded by the pipelines in the Data Lake, essential for making business decisions. We continuously monitor data extraction pipelines to ensure read and load functionality, as well as optimize their performance and efficiency.

Your activities as CSixer

Real programming: developing and evolving frameworks, libraries, APIs and internal tools in Python and Golang to support our data platform;
Architecture and Cloud: Design and implement robust and scalable software architectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), managing the underlying infrastructure of tools such as Airflow, Dataflow and Kubernetes clusters;
Automation and CI/CD: create and maintain complex CI/CD mats, ensuring quality, automated testing and continuous deployments (Infrastructure as Code);
Platform Evolution: research, propose and implement new technologies and architectural patterns that optimize the consumption of resources in the cloud and improve the resilience of our ecosystems;
Reliability Engineering: acting on the observability, monitoring and performance of the platform as a whole, not just individual pipelines.

Requirements and experience

Software Engineer Mindset: solid experience in backend/platform software development (This is not a position for creating ETL pipelines or SQL modeling);
Languages: in-depth knowledge of Python (required) and experience with Golang (very desirable and will be a major plus);
Good practices: proficiency in software architecture, Clean Code, Design Patterns, SOLID and strong testing culture (unit, integration and e2e);
DevOps & infra: in-depth knowledge in CI/CD, containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, etc.);
Cloud & orchestration: experience with administration and deployment of orchestrators (such as large-scale Airflow), event-driven architecture and strong foundation in Cloud Computing (GCP is our main environment);
Availability to work in person in the central region of São Paulo (Av. 9 de Julho);
Differentiations:
Architecture or Engineering Certifications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP);
Previous experience creating internal tools (Developer Tooling) for data teams.
