Our Technology Platform Engineering area

The Technology Platform Engineering area is responsible for building and evolving platforms, internal products and shared capabilities that accelerate software development across the organization. We work transversally with the Engineering, Developer Experience, SRE Experience, Cloud Engineering, FinOps, Security and Architecture teams, creating scalable, secure and standardized solutions that enable the delivery of products with quality and speed. We are expanding our operations to the world of Artificial Intelligence, structuring the capabilities, standards and platforms that will allow the safe, efficient and scalable adoption of AI throughout the bank's engineering.

Your activities as CSixer

Ensure the availability, resilience, performance and security of the Kubernetes infrastructure used by the bank's applications;
Work on the evolution of the SRE strategy, promoting good reliability, observability and capacity management practices;
Build and evolve metrics, indicators, alerts and dashboards for proactive monitoring of environments;
Define and monitor SLOs, SLIs and Error Budgets with engineering teams;
Identify opportunities for cost optimization (FinOps), operational efficiency and better use of infrastructure resources;
Support engineering teams in the creation of new infrastructures and the scalability of existing platforms, ensuring architectural standards and operational excellence;
Evolve and govern the platforms used by C6 Bank, promoting standardization, automation and self-service for development teams;
Design, develop and maintain internal tools that enhance the developer experience and accelerate the software delivery cycle;
Automate operational processes and reduce manual activities through Infrastructure as Code and Platform Engineering practices;
Create and maintain clear, accessible and updated technical documentation, ensuring the dissemination of knowledge and good practices;
Work on incident analysis, post-mortems and implementation of preventive actions to increase service reliability;
Work in partnership with engineering teams to understand bottlenecks, operational pains and opportunities for improvement in SRE Experience.

Requirements and Experience

Solid experience with Kubernetes in high-availability production environments;
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Crossplane and other ecosystem tools);
Experience in cloud environments, preferably AWS, GCP or OCI;
Experience with GitOps and infrastructure automation and provisioning tools;
Advanced knowledge in CI/CD, pipeline automation and DevOps practices;
Solid knowledge of Linux, troubleshooting and administration of distributed systems;
Experience with observability and monitoring using tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Zabbix and OpenTelemetry;
Knowledge in incident management, root cause analysis and systems reliability practices;
Experience with code versioning, script automation (Shell Script, PowerShell or Python);
Knowledge of SRE concepts, including SLOs, SLIs, Error Budgets and capacity management;
Experience with distributed architectures, microservices and mission-critical environments.
Differentials: Experience with Service Mesh (Istio, Linkerd or similar);
Knowledge in Platform Engineering and building self-service platforms for developers;
Experience with Backstage or developer portals;
Experience with OpenTelemetry and advanced observability strategies;
Knowledge in FinOps and optimization of cloud environments;
Certifications related to Kubernetes, Cloud Providers or SRE;
Experience in high-scale and highly critical environments, preferably in the financial market.
