Build AI systems, integrate them and get them running for medium-sized companies.

You build AI systems that really run - RAG pipelines, agents, automation. And you don't want to disappear into the backlog of a product team, you want to see directly with the customer what your solution does.

As a Forward Deployed AI Engineer at Neurawork, you are the technical authority in our customer projects in medium-sized companies: You understand the customer's processes, design the architecture, integrate our standard products deeply into their system landscape and ensure that something runs productively in the end - not just exists on slides. Because you technically know what you're talking about, you advise customers on an equal level - right up to the management.

We work according to our own operational AI process model. We are not an automation agency or custom software developers: We rely on standardized products as leverage and adapt them until they are fully integrated. We create real, measurable added value - and stand for it.

Tasks

What you do with us

Technical implementation for the customer: Architecture, integration and commissioning of AI solutions (LLMs, RAG, Agentic AI, automation) in existing system landscapes - cloud or local
Assess technical feasibility: Use cases Check feasibility, data situation, costs and limits and prioritize according to impact
Close cooperation with the customer's IT: Interfaces, data connection, security, operations
Advice with technical substance: Profound advice to customers from the specialist department to the management - roadmaps that carry technical support
Co-design of our frameworks and products: Findings from projects play back
Knowledge transfer: Live sessions from ongoing projects in our AI training with subsequent TÜV-SÜD certificate and in AI business coaching

Qualifications

What we are looking for

Study in the MINT area (e.g. computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering) or a comparably deep technical one Career
Self-built AI systems: You have designed and implemented at least one AI system yourself - e.g. B. a RAG pipeline, a productive agent or a technically responsible automation
Deep technical understanding of LLMs, retrieval, agentic AI, cloud vs. local operation - including the limits
Confident handling of code (e.g. Python), APIs and data connection
3+ years of professional experiencein technical implementation (e.g. as engineer, data scientist, developer, technical project manager); Customer contact or consulting experience is a plus
Enjoy explaining technology in an understandable way - ideally experience with workshops, lectures or live sessions
Business fluent German, good English
Residence in Germany
