Description: Our customer in Antwerp is building a modern cloud-based data platform. You work together with analysts, architects and reporting specialists to make reliable data available and support data-driven work.

Job description

• Design, build and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL processes with Microsoft Fabric, Python and SQL.
• Integrate various data sources and develop lakehouse, warehouse and medallion architectures.
• Translate reporting needs into reliable datasets and data models for Power BI, among others.
• Monitoring data quality, performance and maintainability, in collaboration with technical teams and business stakeholders.

• At least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, with expertise in databases, ETL and integration from multiple source systems.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric, specifically pipelines, data flows and notebooks.
• At least 3 years of Python experience within data engineering, supplemented with strong knowledge of SQL and query optimization.
• Experience with Azure, lakehouse/warehouse concepts and reporting environments; knowledge of Power BI, Spark, Kimball and CI/CD is an asset.
