What you’ll work on

You will contribute to the frontend of our analytics and product-facing web applications. This internship offers hands-on experience with modern frontend tooling, React components, state management, and user-centric design. You’ll collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to build interfaces that showcase how analytics drive product development, marketing, and operations.

Frontend Developer Intern (Unpaid)

We are seeking a motivated student or recent graduate to join our team as a Frontend Developer Intern. This role is designed to give you hands-on experience with modern frontend development while contributing to meaningful projects in a fast-paced startup environment. You’ll work closely with mentors, collaborate with other team members, and gain exposure to the full product lifecycle.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and improve user interfaces using React and/or Next.js.
  • Work with real data by consuming RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or WebSockets.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop features that shape product strategy and operations.
  • Learn and apply best practices in frontend development, design, and testing.

What We’re Looking For

  • A solid foundation in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Basic knowledge of React, with personal or academic projects to show.
  • Familiarity with version control using Git.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • A genuine passion for learning and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.

Bonus Points For

  • Familiarity with Django (our backend framework).
  • An eye for design and an understanding of UI/UX best practices.
  • Experience with design tools like Figma or Sketch.
  • Exposure to frontend testing methodologies.
  • Interest in data visualization concepts.

Role overview

  • Assist in developing and maintaining frontend components using React.js, ensuring responsive and accessible UI
  • Collaborate with design and backend teams to implement pixel-perfect interfaces
  • Translate product requirements into functional UI/UX with a focus on data visualization
  • Contribute to code reviews, testing, and documentation to maintain code quality
  • Gain exposure to real-world analytics dashboards and storytelling with data

Desirable but not required
