For a company operating in the aeronautical sector we are looking for a PLC Software Engineer to be included in the Software & PLC Office, reporting to the Software & PLC Manager. Purpose of the position Develop and maintain the PLC software of the machines, ensuring effectiveness, efficiency and compliance with project specifications, internal processes and current regulations. Specifically, you will be responsible for: Guaranteeing the effectiveness and efficiency of the machine software design Applying the design process and the management/revision of the requested changes Ensuring the compliance of the machine with the design specifications Guaranteeing the project's compliance with applicable directives and regulations Software development in compliance with the technical specifications and documentation provided Testing and debugging to guarantee functionality and quality of the product Installation and testing of the software created (on site and/or at the customer's site, if applicable) Technical support for service, production, testing, installation Assistance to service stations on the operation and use of the software Design, development and updating of software on Siemens S7 and Codesys Identification and reporting of anomalies related to mechanical and electrical design (in collaboration with the competent departments) The ideal candidate: Degree or Diploma in Automation/Electronics/IT Engineering or equivalent Solid technical knowledge of software design in the industrial sector Good knowledge of the English language (also technical) - B2 level At least 3 years' experience in the role, with focus on programming of finite state machines Technical skills required Siemens STEP 7 and TIA Portal environments Siemens AWL / KOP / SCL languages Codesys platform Reading and interpretation of electrical diagrams Basic electromechanical knowledge Linux basics and web programming skills (HTML5, JavaScript, Python) welcome Position proposal: Direct permanent contract with a RAL range between 28,000 and 32,000 euros Placement immediate.
