Your goal is to support the team and the company in the design and implementation of solutions for ingestion and processing of large amounts of data, with particular focus on the use of platforms such as Databricks, AWS and Kafka, taking advantage also agenticAI development paradigms You will work closely with technical, Product, and Architecture teams, actively collaborating on the evolution and growth of the data platform. As a Network Data Engineer your activities and responsibilities will be the following: Create and maintain optimal data pipelines, following company best practices and via CI/CD Develop and optimize code to ensure efficiency and scalability, with an eye also on cost control Manage the integration of new data sources, guaranteeing quality and consistency of information Lead end-to-end data projects, from the design and requirements collection phase up to implementation Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guarantee the quality and effectiveness of data management solutions Leverage new technologies (LLM, agenticAI) to optimize software prototyping times ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar disciplines Solid knowledge of Databricks, SQL, python, pySpark and coding best practices Excellent knowledge of AWS (or other Cloud service provider) Good knowledge of Apache Kafka and Apache Nifi Experience working in Big Data contexts Work experience in at least one lakehouse format: Iceberg or Deltalake Good knowledge of agent methodologies applied to software development Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code Excellent knowledge of office packages (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) Excellent knowledge of the English language Strong aptitude for problem-solving Ability to work in cross-functional teams Passion for the world of data and data engineering Proactivity and curiosity Work location: Milan + hybrid mode Contract: Permanent Hours: Full Time National collective bargaining agreement: Telecommunications Salary: from €41,000 gross/year.
