Training: Degree or graduate in Electronic Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering in Telecommunications or Electronic or Electrical (Execution) Engineering with an electronic focus.

Experience: Between 0 and 2 years. At least one real electronics, embedded or IoT project that is actually built and working is required — degree report, professional practice, university project or personal project.

With more than 9 years of experience, we have built software for multiple areas (agricultural management, online auctions, case management for courts, certification monitoring for mining workers, salary settlements and other management solutions for transportation and warehousing).
We are looking for a Hardware and IoT / Telemetry Engineer — Junior, to provide the electrical and electronic domain that complements the CEO's technical leadership, building and documenting hardware specifications, device configuration, power harnesses and installation guidelines for TCIT's telemetry and IoT solutions.

Validate the telemetry equipment on the bench before deployment: configuration, power-on tests, GNSS fix, registration in the cellular network and effective reporting to the platform. Configure Teltonika devices: server and GPRS parameters, Data Acquisition, Codec 8/8E, inputs and outputs, ignition detection, sleep modes and FOTA update. Propose and document the power harness — in-line fuse, post-key ignition line bypass, overvoltage, transient and polarity reversal protection, 12V and 24V compatibility — and have it reviewed by senior advisor before being applied. Write assembly guidelines and installation checklists for third parties: fixing, cable routing with drip loop, antenna position and orientation, and GNSS line of sight. Keep the bill of materials updated with prices, alternatives and suppliers, explicitly marking unverified data. Support the integration of the data chain together with the software team: ingestion middleware, telemetry protocols, SIM IoT and visualization. Audit the execution of third-party installers applying the defined acceptance criteria, with photographic evidence and functional testing. Diagnose field failures attributable to hardware, power, antenna or coverage, and propose corrections to the standard. Document all of the above in a versioned and traceable way, so that decisions can be audited and reused when scaling.

Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Fridays 08:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

• Experience with Teltonika equipment (Configurator, Codec 8/8E) or with Flespi or Traccar type platforms.
• Having worked with telemetry, GPS or vehicle tracking devices, even in an academic context.
• MQTT and TCP/IP communication protocols.
• Electrical systems of vehicles or machinery: alternator, battery, ignition line, transients and load dump.
• LTE Cat-1, LTE-M and NB-IoT cellular connectivity, frequency bands and IoT SIM management.
• CAN Bus, SAE J1939 and ISO 11783 (ISOBUS) applied to agricultural machinery.
• Programming in C/C++ for microcontrollers and scripting in Python.
• Technical English for reading manufacturers' documentation.
