Description: Position and missions

Immersed in the embedded software team made up of around ten employees, you will help the team define and implement methods and tools based on generative AI to accelerate development cycles. To do this, you will work on several projects and use cases with the dual objective of generating a concrete deliverable for the software development life cycle, and developing an AI-assisted development method through continuous improvement.

For this you will be required to:

- Participate in writing the specifications of the project to be carried out;
- Compare candidate AI coding assistants and select one, favoring a solution that protects the data and offers the better guarantees of sovereignty. In this task you will be helped by the AI ​​representative of the ACTIA group.
- Set up the environment;
- Develop the project using the wizard, typically in C, Python, Robot Framework languages;
- Validate the project;
- Write the technical documentation for the project;
- By doing the development work, test different methods, evaluate the result, draw recommendations;
- Share the lessons learned as we progress, disseminate the method.

As a first project, you will work on setting up a test environment using language to test electronic cards. The objective is to generate, using a coding assistant, the test environment code compatible with the Robot Framework environment, the TM/TC command manager, and the embedded application code in C language intended to be downloaded into the CPU of the card under test.

In the implementation, you will select and use a coding assistant, you will test working methods with this assistant, you will work to improve them then you will learn lessons that you will pass on to the development team.


Profile / Experience

You are dynamic, autonomous, with strong analytical skills and you want to evolve in a work-study program in a company.

- Training: Level BAC+3/4 (depending on duration of the work-study program) in IT/electronics and systems, from an engineering school or equivalent, with specialization in low-level embedded software
- Technical skills: Good command of GIT, C and Python language, AI coding assistants (Anthropic Claude typically)
- Location: Martres-Tolosane (31)
- Weekly schedule: 35h00

12 or 24 month contract depending on profile, from September 2026.
