Description: RESPONSIBILITIES:

As part of the development of our space activities, we are looking for a Space Ground Segment Engineer M/F to support the operation and maintenance in operational condition of a ground data processing system.
You will join a multidisciplinary system team and participate in the proper functioning of the infrastructures allowing the reception, processing and distribution of data from missions space.
Your missions
Within the Ground Segment team, you will be in particular responsible for:
- Ensure the operational monitoring and operation of ground systems.
- Supervise the processing chains and analyze possible anomalies.
- Participate in the maintenance in operational condition (MCO) of the infrastructures.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the performance and reliability of the systems.
- Implement and maintain monitoring and supervision.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts in Python or Bash.
- Design and maintain ETL/ELT data flows.
- Participate in configuration management and version management activities.
- Write and update technical and operational documentation.
Technical environment
You will evolve in an environment including:
- Linux / Unix
- Python, Bash
- SQL
- Git, GitLab
- Jira, Confluence
- Grafana, Zabbix, Prometheus, Loki or equivalent
- VMware
- Docker
- Apache NiFi, Airflow, Prefect, Pentaho or similar tools

PROFILE WANTED:

A little about you:
Coming from a Bac+5 training (School of Engineer or Master) specialized in IT, embedded systems, telecommunications or space, you have experience of approximately 4 to 6 years in a space environment or critical systems.
You ideally have:
- Experience in operation or MCO of ground systems or critical infrastructures.
- A good knowledge of the architecture of a space ground segment for data processing.
- Solid Linux/Unix skills.
- Practical experience scripting and automation (Python, Bash) team.
- Ability to evolve in a demanding technical environment.
- Curiosity and desire to increase skills in space sector technologies.
