Your duties

In the role, you are responsible for ensuring well-functioning logistics flows and an efficient warehouse. You lead the daily operations and drive improvements that strengthen delivery capability, structure and quality.

Example tasks:

• Lead and develop the warehouse operations
• Have staff responsibility for a warehouse team of around ten people
• Ensure supply of goods to customers and stores
• Work with inbound and outbound flows
• Handle issues linked to import, export and duty-free warehouse
• Contribute to the efficiency of manual warehouse processes
• Support the business in matters connected to e-commerce and store
• Create structure, clarity and improved working methods in daily operations

The role is broader than a traditional warehouse manager role and requires you to be able to both lead people and understand the entire logistics chain.

Worth knowing

This is an interim assignment with our client located outside Norrköping. The assignment needs to be filled immediately. The warehouse works during the day and the team consists of around ten employees. The business includes sales of goods where flows start from the warehouse, with deliveries to both e-commerce and stores. Stores can be found throughout the Nordic region, while e-commerce also goes to several other countries. The role is in place in the business and requires a high operational presence.

Our expectations

We are looking for someone who has solid experience in logistics management, warehouse operations and product flows. You are safe in matters relating to inbound, outbound, import, export and preferably duty-free stock. You have previously had personnel responsibility and know how to create clarity, commitment and structure in a team. Since the business has manual working methods today, you need to be improvement-oriented, without prestige and used to quickly settling into the current situation, identifying bottlenecks and translating analysis into practical improvements. As a person, you are confident, action-oriented and communicative. You thrive in an assignment where you need to combine operational presence with the ability to look up and create sustainable working methods.
