Job description

- Recording, analyzing and coordinating IT requirements with departments, project teams and stakeholders
- Conception and development of new IT systems and databases for engineering-related application areas
- Analysis of existing IT solutions as well as adaptation and further development of existing systems to project-specific requirements
- Independent implementation of IT concepts including testing, implementation, documentation and user support
- Support, maintenance and further development of SQL databases and front-end applications
- Taking on project management tasks in development and research projects
- Planning, controlling and coordinating project activities while adhering to time, cost and quality targets
- Ensuring the on-time delivery of project content and coordination with internal and external project participants
- Continuous optimization of existing IT processes and system landscapes

Profile

- Successfully completed studies in computer science, business informatics or a comparable course of study (at least a bachelor's degree)
- Several years of professional experience in the field of IT and information systems
- Sound knowledge of interface management as well as the integration and support of IT solutions
- Experience in IT project management
- Confident use of MS Office and Google Workspace / Google Suite
- Fluent German and English skills
- Good knowledge of application development with Node.js, Python, FastAPI and Svelte
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server or comparable cloud SQL solutions
- Knowledge of programming and automating office applications
- Understanding of modern IT security concepts, especially zero trust architectures and Encryption standards
