Your role

We are looking for an IT Manager who is as comfortable in the management room as in the dialogue with an IT specialist. You are the hub of the site - responsible for your employees, local IT delivery and the relationship with the business - and at the same time an important cog in our global IT organization.



As an IT Manager, you have overall responsibility for the IT presence on the site. This means personnel responsibility for locally located IT staff, responsibility for capacity and delivery in collaboration with Service Managers, and the role as the business's main IT contact on site. You report operationally to the CIO and act as the link between the global and the local.



Your main areas of responsibility:

Personnel responsibility & employee development
You are the line manager for IT employees physically located on the site. This means responsibility for local HR processes and OSA work, skills development and supporting each employee's personal goals and career development - in close collaboration with the relevant Service Managers, who are operationally responsible for our major solutions within IT delivery.



Capacity management for the site
In cooperation with Service Managers, you coordinate the site's IT capacity against the business's demand. You create an overview, identify bottlenecks in time and ensure that the right resources are in the right place.



Local business relationship
You are the face of the site for IT - the natural point of contact for local business operations. You listen to needs, create trust and ensure that IT is perceived as an active and credible partner for the business.



Your most important contact areas:

    

BA Naval CIO - operational reporting and strategic anchoring

    

Other IT Site Managers - resource sharing and coordination between sites

    

Service Managers - coordination around employee performance, delivery and skills development

    

Local IT staff - daily dialogue with employees allocated to global capability areas



Your profile

You are a natural leader who engages and drives groups forward - without having to have all the answers yourself. You thrive at the intersection between people, technology and operations, and you have an ability to understand the needs of the business and at the same time conduct a qualified dialogue with IT specialists. quickly understand complex issues, interpret KPIs and data, and prioritize what gives the greatest strategic impact

    

Transforms decisions into action - you have a strong inner drive and quickly shorten the path from strategy to concrete activities

    

Navigates confidently in both agile environments and traditional project structures

    

Is a skilled relationship builder with experience in leading workshops, working groups or cross-functional initiatives

    

Experience of having worked in the manufacturing industry for complex products and linked business processes



The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the regulations for security protection in force at any time. For positions where Saab has requirements for security class placement, may, where applicable, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
