Description: At a developer and manufacturer of medical devices in Amersfoort, you automate IT processes that support the organization. You work within the IT Infrastructure team on standardization of the IT landscape: from infrastructure orchestration and configuration management to identity and access management. The focus is on IT automation, not on PLC controls. With scripts, API integrations and automation platforms, you connect systems, limit manual actions and make processes more reliable.
In daily practice, you translate requests from users and technical teams into maintainable solutions. You write scripts in Python or PowerShell, for example, manage automation platforms and investigate notifications and errors in existing workflows. You will work together with IT colleagues in the Netherlands and the United States and with other departments. In addition to management, you participate in international projects and look for opportunities for improvement yourself. Through internal training and external training opportunities, you will deepen your knowledge of integrations, infrastructure and modern automation techniques.
Job content
- Build and maintain automations and integrations for IT systems, databases, networks and software
- Install, manage and deploy automation platforms for planning and executing workflows
- Support and standardize configuration management of the IT infrastructure
- Investigate automation opportunities within technical processes and business processes
- Translate user needs into solutions, together with local and international IT colleagues
- Monitor existing automations and resolve malfunctions, error messages and bugs
- Write technical documentation and support materials and support colleagues
Job requirements
- Knowledge of automation platforms and programming or scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell
- In-depth knowledge of API platforms and system integrations
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure platforms etc.
