Description: Do you have a desire to work in a world-leading company in vacuum technology? Now JETS is looking for an Automation Engineer who can assist across disciplines and product lines. As an Automation Engineer in JETS, you will work with complete automation systems that involve control logic, visualization, data collection and integration. This will involve development and maintenance of control logic in IEC-61131-3 and HMI on control cabinets. The work will be carried out in close collaboration with R&D engineers, product owners and system owners. You will also be responsible for ensuring seamless communication and transition between hardware and their IoT platform (Jets Insight). We are looking for you who have solid experience as an automation engineer, preferably with five or more years behind you in the field. You thrive in the role when you get to work with everything from PLC programming to modern systems such as Ignition (SCADA), and you have good control over both frequency converters and motor control. As part of JETS, you become part of an innovative and forward-looking environment with a focus on quality and efficiency. As an Automation Engineer, you will be part of the Electro-Control Systems team, consisting of System Managers and product owners. In addition, one will be a support resource for the entire Product Systems department.
The position reports to the Head of Products and Systems. The workplace for the position will primarily be Hareid, but JETS also has office facilities in Breivika in Ålesund.
