We are looking for a Senior Cloud DevOps person to work on the evolution of the CI&T Flow platform, with a strong focus on Platform Engineering, Cloud and automation.

This person will work on the construction and evolution of the Internal Developer Platform (IDP), creating tools and Golden Paths that allow teams to consume infrastructure and services in a self-service, secure and standardized way. We are looking for a profile with a strong background in development, capable of treating infrastructure and platform as a product.

Responsibilities

Develop and evolve tools, services and CLIs that abstract the complexity of Cloud and Kubernetes for development teams.
Build and evolve Golden Paths and self-service capabilities of the Internal Developer Platform.
Design and maintain deployment solutions using GitOps, including cross-environment promotion strategies.
Develop and standardize reusable and versioned Helm Charts.
Build and evolve pipelines with GitHub Actions, considering security, governance, runners and reuse.
Implement deployment strategies such as Canary and Blue/Green.
Develop and evolve infrastructure as code using Terraform in Azure environments.
Integrate security, quality and static analysis practices into the development cycle.
Apply SRE practices, observability, SLIs/SLOs and Error Budgets in the evolution of the platform.
Act as a technical reference, contributing to architectural decisions and development of the people on the team.

Requirements for this challenge

Solid experience with Cloud DevOps, Platform Engineering or internal platform development.
Experience with development and automation using Python or similar language.
Solid knowledge of Azure Cloud, including Networking, Storage, Azure Container Apps, APIM and managed services.
Solid experience with Kubernetes, including concepts such as CRDs, Operators and Admission Controllers.
Experience with Terraform, creating reusable modules and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Practical experience with GitOps and Helm Charts.
Experience with GitHub Actions, CI/CD and automation via APIs.
Knowledge of good development practices, such as Clean Code and SOLID.
Knowledge of observability and SRE practices.
Platform mentality as a product, automation and self-service.

Differences

Experience in building Internal Developer Platforms (IDP) and Golden Paths.
Knowledge in Backstage or other Developer Portal solutions.
Experience with Argo CD, Crossplane or Service Mesh.
Experience with Canary and Blue/Green strategies in Kubernetes environments.
Experience with security and Policy as Code applied to platforms.
Experience using Artificial Intelligence and AI Coding tools for development, automation or operation of platforms.
