We are looking for a Principal AI Platform Engineer (hands-on) to lead the construction, deployment and evolution of the Agentic SDLC platform. The professional will be the main technical reference of the initiative, responsible for architecting the access layer to AI models — including the operation of LiteLLM as an AI Gateway — and ensuring the delivery of the solution into production by leading a team. Responsibilities: Architect, implement and operate LiteLLM as a centralized AI Gateway for Foundation Models. Configure authentication, authorization, IAM, secrets management, quotas, rate limiting, routing and fallbacks. Design and sustain infrastructure in AWS with a focus on high availability, security, scalability and resilience. Implement complete observability (tokens, costs, latency, errors, tracing) and FinOps indicators. Build and integrate MCP Servers, agents, skills, plugins and development tools (e.g. Jira, Git, Playwright). Establish guardrails, security policies, auditing and governance for the use of AI. Develop and evolve a reusable catalog of agentic artifacts and prompts. Collaborate with Architecture, Security, Cloud and DevOps, acting as a technical reference and supporting teams in adopting the new model. Requirements Experience at Principal/Specialist level in Software, Platform or Cloud Engineering. Solid and practical experience with AWS, cloud architecture and automation/IaC. Development skills in Python, Java and/or Node.js. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, microservices and distributed systems. Solid knowledge of APIs, Gateways, networking, CI/CD and observability. Strong troubleshooting capabilities, end-to-end autonomy (from architecture to production) and clear communication. Differences LiteLLM, Amazon Bedrock, Anthropic/Claude, Claude Code, Kiro. Model Context Protocol (MCP) and development of multi-agent systems. FinOps for GenAI, OpenTelemetry, guardrails and AI security. Internal Developer Platforms (IDP) and Golden Paths. #LI-GV1
