We are looking for two curious junior developers who want to help build digital services that actually mean something to people.
Are you a recent graduate? Then we encourage you to apply. You don't need to know everything from day one, the most important thing is that you like to solve problems, want to learn and want to use technology to make things better.
The position is in the Digital transformation section, where around 40 employees work in digitalisation, IT, information management and procurement.
You will be part of the digitization department and will work closely with, among other things, developers, architects, IT resources, data resources and employees in the municipality's services.
Since we are building up the developer environment now, you also get the opportunity to influence how we will work with, among other things, development methodology, code quality, Git, testing, documentation and AI tools.

Sometimes we need an integration between two systems. Other times we need to automate a work process, retrieve data in a smarter way or create a small application that solves a concrete problem for employees or residents.
At the same time, the development tools have changed significantly in recent years. Modern cloud technology, open frameworks and AI-assisted development make it possible to develop and manage software far more efficiently than before.
That is why we are now establishing an internal developer environment in Lørenskog municipality.
We don't want to build everything ourselves. But we want to be able to build the solutions that provide great value for the municipality, and which the supplier market cannot necessarily deliver.
And this is where you come in.
As a developer with us, you will work with real needs from the entire municipality, such as:
further development around our new cloud-based ERP system
automation and improvement of case and work processes
integrations between different professional systems
development of smaller internal applications and services
APIs and event-based integrations
retrieval and processing of data to the municipality's analysis environment
use of artificial intelligence and language models in new solutions
prototypes and testing of new technologies
You will be able to follow solutions all the way from a need arises until something is actually put into production and is used.
