Primary Responsibilities:Design, develop, test, deploy, and support scalable full-stack applications across web, API, cloud, and data platformsBuild secure, reliable, and reusable software components that deliver business value and superior user experiencesDevelop and maintain REST APIs, microservices, integrations, and cloud-native solutionsCollaborate with Product Managers, Architects, DevOps, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end technology solutionsLead technical design discussions, code reviews, and solution implementation while promoting engineering best practicesDrive application performance, scalability, security, observability, and operational excellenceMentor engineers, contribute to technical roadmaps, and support continuous improvement initiativesSupport Agile delivery processes, including sprint planning, estimation, and executionComply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do soRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience8+ years of experience in full-stack software development with modern web and cloud technologiesExperience with modern front-end frameworks such as ReactExperience designing and developing REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systemsHands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCPExperience with relational and NoSQL databases and cloud-native application developmentSolid proficiency in Go, PythonSolid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and secure coding standardsProven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams, solve complex technical problems, and influence technical decisions Preferred Qualification:Experience in healthcare technology, AI/ML solutions, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Agile/Scrum methodologies At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
