Description:

Responsibilities: - Lead and mentor a team of localization engineers, including task allocation, performance evaluation and skill development
- Lead the resolution of complex localization and internationalization issues escalated from the team - Manage and improve automated localization processes and CI/CD integrations across multiple customer accounts - Reviewing and directing the development of scripts and tools for workflow optimization, format validation, and content pre- and post-processing - Acting as the primary technical contact for clients, including scoping new engineering work and managing escalations - Coordinating collaboration with clients' existing localization teams, project managers and service providers to ensure seamless integration with their established processes - Monitoring team workload, client account SLAs and project delivery quality - Standardization of documentation, onboarding process and best practices across the team

Other requirements: - Strong computer and technical skills and hands-on experience with localization and internationalization technical solutions
- Good knowledge of Java (2+ years) and Python (3+ years) - Very good knowledge of English and Russian - In-depth knowledge of localization workflows, CI/CD processes and file formats (XLIFF, JSON, PO/POT, RESX, YAML, etc.) - Experience leading or mentoring technical team members - Experience working with clients or internal stakeholders who already have established localization processes - Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple client accounts and projects simultaneously - Very good cross-team collaboration and communication skills, including with non-technical stakeholders. The advantage is: - Previous work experience with a localization service provider (LSP), localization company or globalization services company - Experience with TMS platforms (Phrase, Lokalise, Crowdin, Smartling, memoQ, etc.) - Knowledge of character encodings, i18n/l10n principles, plural forms and locale-specific formatting at consulting and architectural level - Experience with Git-based workflows and code review processes - Experience with test automation frameworks or API-based integrations - Experience in pre-sales technical work or defining the technical scope of customer projects.
