Do you like to build applications that are actually used with large language models? And do you want to go further than a proof of concept?
I am looking for a medior AI/ML Engineer for an IT service provider with a focus on software development and AI solutions in Eindhoven. The organization develops custom software for customers in various sectors and has a growing practice around generative AI. The team is informal and technically driven, with short lines of communication between developers, consultants and customers.
As an AI/ML Engineer in Eindhoven, you work in project teams of three to six colleagues on Gen-AI solutions for customers. You design and build applications around LLMs, set up pipelines for data and evaluation, and bring models to production. You communicate directly with customers about what is technically possible and what delivers value. Because the field moves quickly, you will have explicit time to explore new models and techniques. You bring back what you learn to the team and to subsequent projects. Your duties - Developing Gen-AI applications in Python, from prototype to production - Building RAG pipelines and integrations with LLM APIs - Setting up evaluation and monitoring for model quality - Advising customers on the use of AI in their processes - Collaborating with developers and data engineers in project teams - Contributing to internal knowledge sessions about new AI techniques Your profile - Completed HBO or WO education in computer science, AI or similar - 2 to 4 years of experience in software development or machine learning - Strong knowledge of Python and modern ML frameworks - Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering or RAG architectures - Familiarity with cloud environments such as Azure or AWS - Your communication...
