We support companies in Vienna & all of Austria in finding suitable IT specialists - with IT personnel placement, temporary employment (AKÜ) and IT freelancers.

We are currently looking for: 1 Monitoring & Observability Engineer (f/m/d) Linz area - 38.5 hours per week - permanent

We are looking for reinforcements in the area of application operations for a company in the financial services industry in the Linz area. The focus of the role is the further development of monitoring and observability solutions as well as the sustainable improvement of the stability of business-critical applications.

Your tasks

* Further development and optimization of the existing monitoring and observability landscape

* Analysis of disruptions and derivation of suitable measures for monitoring and alerting.

* Conception and construction of dashboards, metrics and alerting concepts.

* Close coordination with product owners, specialist departments and technical teams.

* Automation of operating and monitoring processes using infrastructure as code as well as documentation of operating and monitoring concepts.

Your profile

* Sound IT training (apprenticeship, HTL, FH or university) or corresponding professional experience.

* Experience in operating applications on Windows and/or Linux systems.

* Initial knowledge of automation and scripting, for example with PowerShell or Python.

* First points of contact with monitoring and alerting solutions such as Dynatrace, Icinga, PRTG or Grafana.

* Analytical mindset, quality awareness and very good knowledge of German.

Remuneration:

We offer a gross monthly salary (IT-KV) of EUR 3,267.00 / month (on a full-time basis 38.5 hours). The actual payment depends on your qualifications and professional experience.
