Vesani Sweden AB is a growing e-commerce company with an office and showroom in Ängelholm. We sell furniture, lighting and bathroom fittings under our own brand, which we import directly from our suppliers in Asia and Europe without intermediaries. We are a small team with short decision-making paths, where each person makes a big difference.

Vesani Sweden AB is looking for an Operational Manager who will be a central person in our organization – the spider in the web between our internal functions, warehouse/3PL, customer service, systems and external partners.

This is a hands-on role for you who not only want to manage existing ways of working, but who want to build, improve and run them.

The role reports to CEO.

About the role

As Operations Manager, you are responsible for ensuring that Vesani's daily operational flows work - and that we have the right processes, systems and structure to be able to grow efficiently.

You have clear ownership of the collaboration with our warehouse/3PL and our forwarders, and that they live up to the SLA levels we agreed upon. You ensure that order flows, inventory status, returns, complaints and other operational issues are handled quickly and structured.

An equally important part of the role is to build and develop our internal processes and our IT structure.

Do you see a manual way of working that can be automated? Then you run it. Do two systems need to talk to each other via API? Then you make sure that the solution is in place. Do we need to bring in a programmer or external specialist? Then you make demands, coordinate and follow up the work.

You don't have to be able to program yourself - but you must be technically curious and knowledgeable enough to understand the systems, see the possibilities and drive the projects to their goals.

Your main areas of responsibility

Warehouse, 3PL & operational flow

You are Vesani's main operational contact with warehouse/3PL and forwarders and are responsible for the collaboration working effectively.

You will among other things to:

•     own the ongoing communication and follow-up with warehouse/3PL and freight forwarders

•     follow up that our partners live up to agreed SLA levels for delivery times, delivery security and quality

•     set up, document and improve processes and working methods

•     follow up on order flows, delivery precision, stock status and deviations

•     ensure that problems and deviations are caught and actually resolved

•     handle back orders, internal stock transfers and operational stock issues

•     be responsible for structure and process around returns and complaints

•     ensure that relevant information reaches customer service and other parts of the organization

Processes, systems & IT

You will be given great responsibility for developing how Vesani works.

This means, among other things:

•     mapping and setting up internal processes
platform

•     ensure that Visma.net and other relevant systems contain correct information

•     create structure for follow-up, data and reporting

You will simply be the one who ensures that processes and systems work together in practice.

You can handle many parallel questions, prioritize the right and create structure even where it does not exist today.

You are prestigeless.

One moment you can run a major IT or process project and the next moment solve a concrete problem with an order, return or stock deviation. The role also involves some practical work outside the business - you see that as a natural part of understanding the flow and being able to improve it.

We believe you have

•     experience of a broad operational role in e-commerce, logistics, business systems or similar

•     very good IT and system skills and a good understanding of APIs, integrations and digital flows

•     experience of running projects and coordinating external suppliers or developer

•     a structured, analytical and solution-oriented way of working

•     good Swedish and English

•     driver's license

Experience in e-commerce, 3PL, business systems, Visma.net, automation or web development projects are meritorious.

You don't have to know everything from scratch. The most important thing is that you have the drive and curiosity to find out what you don't already know.

Practical

The role is located in our office and showroom in Ängelholm. A driver's license and access to a car are required, as the work involves frequent visits to our 3PL warehouse outside Klippan.
