Description: About the position At the Department of Information Technology there is a 100% permanent position available as senior engineer/department engineer in IT operations - with immediate entry. The department is one of five departments under the Faculty of Technology, Art and Design at OsloMet. The department has extensive teaching and research activities, with a strong focus on combining high academic quality and industrial relevance. The work will be linked to study support and facilitation of the institute's core activities through planning, rollout, maintenance and operation of its digital services. Assignments and implementation of laboratory exercises, as well as supervision of students, can be included as main work tasks. The appointed person will be given exciting tasks, such as testing new technologies, hardware and software, have extensive cooperation with the teaching staff and regular contact with students and possibly external clients. The position is paid in accordance with the main collective agreements in the state and the Oslo Metslønnspolitik employment code 1085 department engineer, NOK 580,000 - 640,000 per year, or in position code 1087 chief engineer, NOK 650,000 - 720,000 per year, depending on competence. For particularly qualified applicants, a higher salary may be considered. A 2% pension contribution to the Statens pensionskasse (SPK) is deducted from the salary.
