Description: Do you want to combine portfolio planning, data analysis and business development in a role where you get to translate complex information into concrete improvements?

We are now looking for a Portfolio Planner for an exciting consulting assignment at a large international organization in Lund. You get a central role in developing and streamlining the work with portfolio planning, from identifying gaps and bottlenecks to developing dashboards, automating processes and driving improvements all the way to implementation.

🎯About the role

As a Portfolio Planner, you work to create structure, transparency and better decision-making for the organization's project and portfolio management.

You analyze existing processes, data and tools, identify improvement opportunities and drive solutions independently forward. An important part of the role is to develop reporting and visualization in Power BI, automate workflows and optimize how data flows between different systems.

In short, we are looking for you who likes to understand both the business behind the numbers and the technology behind the solution.

💡What will you do?

In the role you will, among other things:

    

Identify gaps, bottlenecks and improvement opportunities within portfolio planning and drive solutions from analysis to implementation.

    

Maintain and develop the integrated portfolio roadmap based on business needs and dependencies.

    

Create clear visualizations of portfolios, programs, projects, workloads, KPIs, decisions and financial information.

    

Develop Power BI dashboards for reporting, follow-up and decision support.

    

Ensure quality and reliability in dashboards, KPIs and status reporting.

    

Collect, structure and quality-assure data from various sources.

    

Develop automated workflows with Power Automate and create VBA scripts for more efficient ways of working.

    

Optimize data flows and integrations between SAP, PlanView and other portfolio systems.

    

Contribute with data-driven analyzes and recommendations in various governance forums.

    

Identify new opportunities for efficiency through benchmarking and environmental monitoring.

    

Support the introduction of new systems and tools and ensure smooth integration into the existing environment.

🧩Who are we looking for?

We believe that you have 3–5+ years of experience in, for example, portfolio planning, project management, strategic planning or a related field. You have an academic degree in, for example, Business, Engineering, Finance or equivalent and are used to working in the borderland between business, data and IT.

We would like you to have:

    

Very good knowledge in Power BI and development of dashboards.

    

Advanced knowledge in Power Automate.

    

Good understanding of SAP, including transactions and data flows.

    

Ability to develop VBA scripts and streamline Excel-based working methods.

    

Understanding of portfolio and project management as well as Agile and Waterfall.

    

Experience of or good understanding of PlanView.

    

Understanding of financial planning, budgeting and follow-up.

    

Good technical understanding of IT systems, data management and integrations.

    

Fluent spoken and written English.
