YOUR JOB



In this role, you will be part of an expert team working on renewable energy. The team's work consists of expert work related to network connections, project management and customer cooperation all the way to technical implementation. In this role, you work in renewable energy customer projects where the connection of power plants and electricity consumption to the grid and other electrical systems are modeled and simulated using PSCAD software.



Your areas of responsibility:



Modeling and simulation of electrical systems using PSCAD software

Consulting tasks related to connecting power plants to the grid and planning electrical systems

Communication to modeling between different stakeholders

Reporting

Developing your own work



We consider it an advantage:



Knowledge of the software PSS/E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, ETAP and Sincal

Previous experience in renewable energy projects

Python, Fortran and Visual Studio programming skills

Experience about design software

MS Office competence

A university degree in electrical engineering (e.g. AMK, DI or MSc). In terms of your working style, you are a self-directed problem solver who takes on projects and brings them to the finish line. You bear responsibility and understand the operating model of continuous development and improvement. You communicate fluently in Finnish and English and work naturally in cooperation in the customer interface. You are open and ready to learn new methods and tools.
