Description: The Austrian National Bank in 1090 Vienna is looking to strengthen the team for 2 internships in the area of treasury - market, investment strategy and monetary policy operations (f/m/x) lasting 6 months (employment level 80 to 100%) from January 1st, 2027 and from July 1st, 2027

Full-time or part-time (limited until June 30, 2027 or until December 31, 2027)

Your tasks

As part of your internship, you will support our team in particular with the following activities:

* Getting to know the central business areas of the National Bank (investment of the Currency reserves, implementation of monetary policy)

* Operational support of the reserve management team

* Participation in the further development of workflow and process automation and data collection and preparation

Depending on your main interests, additional tasks can be taken on.

Your profile

What you bring with you

* Ongoing Bachelor's/Master's degree is absolutely necessary with a focus on computer science, business informatics or finance

* Interest in capital markets and quantitative analysis

* IT affinity and programming knowledge (e.g. R, MATLAB, Python) is an advantage

* Very good MS Office application knowledge (especially Excel and PowerPoint)

* Enjoy working with numbers and data as well as the ability to work independently

* High commitment, flexibility, reliability and Communication skills

* Very good knowledge of spoken and written English
