Description: The Austrian National Bank in 1090 Vienna is looking to strengthen its team 2 internship in data management - insight into the world of banking and financial data for a period of 6 months (employment level of 50-100%) in 2027 with a flexible start date (start between January and July)

Your tasks

* Collection, quality assurance and preparation of the extensive reporting data from credit and other financial institutions

* Processing queries from colleagues at the OeNB and the European Central Bank (ECB) about reported data and products as well as direct communication with reporters

* Participation in the implementation, further development and automation as well as testing of data quality assurance processes

* Participation in international projects within the framework of the European System of Central Banks (ESCB) as well as in national projects to increase the efficiency of the reporting system of credit institutions

* Development and use of AI applications that serve to support the activities described above

Your profile

What you bring with you

* Ongoing economic or technical bachelor's/master's degree is absolutely necessary, preferably with a connection to banking and finance

* Very good MS Office skills, especially in Excel and PowerPoint

* Analytical thinking skills with a good understanding of data analysis and statistical relationships

* Structured, careful and independent way of working

* Ability to work in a team and good communication skills

* Fluent knowledge of German and English

* Programming skills, e.g. B. Python, as well as knowledge of AI applications is an advantage
