What your day-to-day will look like 💼

You’ll transform data into strategic direction for the evolution of Saipos’ products, connecting the user experience to business results. You’ll ensure reliable information, identify behavioral patterns and opportunities for improvement, as well as validate hypotheses and assess the impact of initiatives. You’ll translate complex analyses into clear recommendations for different audiences, supporting decisions made by teams and leadership. Work autonomously and collaboratively across departments, refining analytical practices and fostering a culture of evidence-based decision-making. See below:

  • Define, connect, and monitor Saipos’ set of product and UX metrics, ensuring that each indicator is aligned with business objectives and distinguishing between leading and lagging metrics;
  • Select and monitor business, marketing, product, and UX metrics, translating them into a unified narrative that guides product strategy and leadership decisions;
  • Structure and evolve the tagging and instrumentation of digital products, ensuring that the right events are captured with quality and traceability—and defining workarounds (proxies, new data collection methods) when data is not yet available;
  • Build advanced analyses—such as cohort, retention, funnel, and adoption segmentation—and transform them into actionable recommendations for squads and leadership;
  • Design and conduct experiments (A/B tests and other techniques), defining hypotheses, success metrics, and statistical interpretation of results;
  • Collect, model, and manipulate data using SQL, working closely with the Data team to ensure a solid foundation for data structure and governance;
  • Produce clear and reliable visualizations and dashboards, applying best practices in data visualization and avoiding common errors and biases in data interpretation;
  • Effectively communicate insights to diverse audiences—from squads to C-level executives—tailoring the depth and format to each audience;
  • Propose, develop, and implement improvements to product analysis procedures, metrics, and policies, influencing not only your role but also how the department as a whole works with data;
  • Work independently on problems of varying scope, exercising sound judgment in choosing methods and techniques and building productive relationships with other senior colleagues and partner departments

What we expect from you 👌

  • +3 years of experience in analytics, data, or product intelligence;
  • Bachelor’s degree in fields such as Statistics, Engineering, Information Systems, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields;
  • Proficiency in SQL for data collection, modeling, and manipulation, with a solid understanding of data structures;
  • Practical experience defining and managing product and UX metrics, linking them to business objectives;
  • Experience with Product Analytics tools (such as Amplitude, Pendo, Mixpanel, GA4, PostHog, or similar) and with event tagging/instrumentation;
  • Proficiency in data visualization best practices and experience with BI tools (such as Metabase, Looker, Power BI, or similar);
  • Experience designing and analyzing experiments (A/B tests), including hypothesis formulation and statistical interpretation;
  • Analytical skills to conduct advanced analyses (cohort, retention, funnel, segmentation) and translate them into business recommendations;
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to tailor your message to different audiences, from technical squads to executive leadership;
  • Autonomy, sound judgment in choosing methods, and a collaborative mindset to build productive cross-functional relationships.
